Pride inclusive

Well, having lived in Asheville, NC for 30+ years, I know they have quite a large LBGTQ+ community that's supportive. There's also a large community of very religious/church folks, of course.Ā Then there are also your usual suspects amongĀ the Democrats and Republicans who spar constantly. Of course, Asheville is getting more populated and more expensive, but there are smaller towns around it where it MIGHT be possible to find some affordable place to live. I haven't been up there in 5-6 years now, so I don't know a lot of what's been going on. You might look on-line for The Asheville Citizen-Times. They also have, or had, one or two of what isĀ called an 'alternative' newspaper, but I am not sure of the names of them.
Be worth searching out, at least.
I have been Pigeon Forge and drive through those beautiful mountains with a sto at Cherokee. I see there are cities for sale near Bryson if correct spelling? Itās definitely worth looking into. Whatās the Winter like does it snow? What is Boone county? Havenāt been to this side any thoughts? Thanks for sharing will put a star next to this place but still searching
Lots of snow, some years. Other years, not so much.Ā I think Boone gets a great deal of snow. But it IS beautiful up there. (Great if you like to ski!) I've been to Bryson City and Cherokee, but never to Pigeon Forge.Ā
(PS: Don't get mad, because I'm saying this with the smile of a friend: Look at you using punctuation!Ā ?Ā Way to go!Ā )
Oh, no! I donāt mind the snowflakes. Thanks for the information. And will work towards taking the time to make sure my content has correct spelling, punctuality and a better flow. OMG was LOL when I read itās miashedmuxed together. Many donāt get not just my content but donāt realize maybe my way of thinking? Attribute that someways we are taught and than thereās the way to be taught to go against the normal way. Does this makes sense? Like me for instance: Iām brought up differently when people say oh your dish perhaps a thing as so simple as cornbread isnāt done. We donāt sayāoh letās put that cornbread back in the ovenā as people living out of the closet thatās a no-no! So we say alternatives itās complicated. Almost impossible to get unless your part of my family? Hope maybe that widens your ability to see where Iām coming from...Have a good safe weekend. As for me we itās already Friday. Remember Iām security at the moment just had to stop a fight a man was almost attacked from homophobia and literally had to stop an incident of bashing! Itās still never ending regardless of where we live even here CA there is some idiots wanna attack a person who isnāt doing anything wrong to promote any violence.Ā

We have 4 seasons --- can travel 1 hr to seashore or 2hrs to mountains.Ā Homes 250,000 -500,000+ range.
My brother lives in VA, also thinking of retiring to NC so getting popular.
Been working in Baltimore and other parts of MD a lot over the past year.Ā It seems two of theĀ four seasons in those parts are grey and bone chilling cold season, and hot muggy sweaty season.Ā Blah.
Equal rights especially the right to much needed healthcare for our domestic household is a priority it wonāt be a quick decision. Last night I watched a movie that moved me emotionally had me in a place of happy tears. Suggest maybe some people unsure of what challenges I go through itās not only because of LGBT itās much more itās easy to get to this place so we need that Ā Retreat to the country, to Restart back to hiking enjoying nature not making such a violent community normal for living? Watch āIn Too Deepā itās older movie nothing new but when I watched this it made me rethink where we are and why we need to move for a better life, has anyone seen this film?
I live in Florida that has become increasingly right wing over time like much of the SE.
I think none of the SE states are "pride friendly" but there are many areas like the above mentioned Asheville that are pride oasis's in red state. Ā Atlanta is very pride friend, as are Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill.
I live in the Tampa Bay Area and St. Petersburg is a progressive area with the largest Pride in Florida and one of the largest in the country actually. Ā Ā
The downside where I live are the state politics and the high cost of living the last few years. Ā Rents have really gone up and things like homeowners and car insurance have skyrocketed.

We are thinking to relocate outside CA but have some serious fears to move since we know some states are not just rude but killing people! Current status: trans family 3 members of my immediate family are trans not cross dressers not that Iām biased many still are not understood how far advanced we are now still unsure howFTM it MTF is done my cousins are also 2 happily married men with a son so we are the modern family I suppose and fear that although we have thick skin we want same experience equality and rights as everyone also privacy too! Please shoutout what state you rep and what they offer to make a move a good one! On top of list is the Carolinas as we see things changing and shaking up for better see article at top interesting ?Ā
