prerequisites online

I was wondering if anyone has taken A&P 1,2 and microbiology online and where. I checked university of phoenix but the courses are only 3 credits and I need them to be 4.

I'm not asking whether or not I should take them online, thank you for your concern, I'm simply asking where these are offered online. My local community colleges do not offer them as an online course.

I did my A&P courses through Northern Virginia CC online and they were both 4 credits. They also had virtual labs. I went to nursing school at the University of Virginia and they accepted them. Also, it did not place me at any disadvantage not having the labs in person. In my opinion the labs don't really help you in nursing courses or clinicals.

Edukan.com regionally accredited, it's a group of community colleges in Kansas. 4 hr a&p classes and 5 hr micro all with virtual labs. I picked pratt community college and they've been so helpful and attentive.

I took microbiology with lab through portage learning.com which is through Geneva college. I didn't have any problems with having schools I applied to accept the online credits and it was very affordable! You can do the course at your own pace and the labs are virtual so it's very convenient. I would definitely recommend the site to anyone looking for nursing prerequisites. I also took development across the lifespan through them

I have taken a couple of online courses - but they were the English, Psychology, Algebra and Nutrition prereqs. I would not take any biology courses online. Agree with everyone else.

Also, my biology classes with labs are all 5 credits.

I must join the "careful" chorus; some schools don't even accept A&P taken as one course.

i did my online prerequisite classes through North Central Missouri college, I've taken A & P, as well as microbiology, they were all 4 credit courses, and were reasonably priced.

bartonline.org is an excellent school, they offer completely online labs with A&P and it was extremely thorough.

I am taking all of my pre-reqs at rio Salado community college. The sciences all include a separate lab component. For higher than biology you are required to have a proctor for some tests. It's a community college and the classes look the same on the transcript as in person classes.

That's true, mine were separate courses, Anatomy was a prerequisite for Physiology.
