Hi, everyone! In need of some help please.
I am in doubt about what to choose: ADN or BSN? I've been watching admissions info sessions from both community colleges and universities in my area to try to understand the best path, however what I don't get is whether all credits from prerequisites and ADN clinicals would transfer to the further education? Or does it only fully transfer if the community college has an agreement with other colleges?
If anyone has been through this and could share your experience I'd appreciate it. I just don't want to spend a ton of money on ADN if I'll be required to retake classes for my BSN. I'm getting too old to postpone my plans any further (ADN 2+2 or BSN 2.5 max) - and as an international student it gets even harder so I'm begging for help hehe.
Thanks in advance! ?

Community college classes like A & P would usually transfer. But your bigger question is regarding your nursing classes of course. Many community colleges have connections with RN-BSN programs. You will need to ask your target ADN program about easy transfer of credit.

No one does. I do have to ask if your ADN is a "ton of money"?

Thank you for your response! I understand that no one does, but I am an international student and I pay as a non-resident/out-of-state (usually 3x resident/in-state) so it ends up being a ton of money in the end. I'm assuming 25-28k for 2 years of the ADN degree and then still have to go through the BSN which is the same amount (25k but yearly), that's why I'd like to have a sense if it's worth it getting the ADN or going straight to the BSN.

I so wish I could you give an answer with these unknown variables. Would a private college be better suited to your needs (please know I am not recommending anything).
