  1. Thank you for your response! I understand that no one does, but I am an international student and I pay as a non-resident/out-of-state (usually 3x resident/in-state) so it ends up being a ton of money in the end. I'm assuming 25-28k for 2 years of the ADN degree and then still have to go through the BSN which is the same amount (25k but yearly), that's why I'd like to have a sense if it's worth it getting the ADN or going straight to the BSN.
  2. Hi, everyone! In need of some help please. I am in doubt about what to choose: ADN or BSN? I've been watching admissions info sessions from both community colleges and universities in my area to try to understand the best path, however what I don't get is whether all credits from prerequisites and ADN clinicals would transfer to the further education? Or does it only fully transfer if the community college has an agreement with other colleges? If anyone has been through this and could share your experience I'd appreciate it. I just don't want to spend a ton of money on ADN if I'll be required to retake classes for my BSN. I'm getting too old to postpone my plans any further (ADN 2+2 or BSN 2.5 max) - and as an international student it gets even harder so I'm begging for help hehe. Thanks in advance! ?
  3. Good morning, everyone! I am desperately in need of help. Long story short, there's a lot of stress going on in my life now but I feel like I do need to change the whole toxic environment I'm in and that includes applying to nursing schools to ideally start the Spring 2022 (I know timing is short, but it is what it is). Is there any community college that you know that I can still apply to? I don't mind taking the TEAS, HESI, PAX or whatever it is, I just need to move somewhere else, open to anywhere in the country. I honestly don't want to wait till the fall to get into and would like, for the sake of love, to move on with my life. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you so much!
