I think you should take 12 credits if you'll be working full time and haven't been in school for a while. 15 if you think you can handle it. I'd say take a science prereq for the nursing program you want to go to. Almost all schools require ap1 and 2 so you should do those as soon as possible.
oh ok, so you should focus on gen ed while satisfying some nursing prereqs. It should take about 4-6 semesters until you can apply to a program if you'll be taking it slow for a few semesters. I agree with leenak, you would want to take your science courses closer to the time you want to apply for nursing school so the info will be fresh in your brain and when you go to take the entrance exam you'll do great. You should definitely just take math and english. If you decide to take more, depending on the professor sociology may be a breeze. I took soci online my freshman yr and we only had quizzes and exams, I got a B in it.

I took my Placement Exam today and now have an accurate list of courses I can register for. I haven't been in school of any kind since 1999 and am wondering: From those of you who have completed (or at least started) prereqs, which classes should I take first? My options right now are: English 1A, Biology, Math (Elementary Algebra lmao), Sociology or Speech (Group Discussion). Which classes should I start with? I'm kind of overwhelmed right now and could really use some help deciding. Thanks!!
