kukukajoo, LPN 1,310 Posts Jan 3, 2008 I have seen a few books on amazon that have nursing and healthcare resumes and cover letters. I have just begun mine and have my cover letter done but still working on the resume. I need to get it done, as I need a job NOW as LNA or something as well as one for after I graduate. It is hard because this is a change of career and I have much other relevant experience I need to note somehow without going back a million years.

Jan 3, 2008 I'm going to an open house where there will be managers from all different floors (with possible interviews) and I was wondering do I need a cover letter if I'm applying there? When I need a cover letter confuses me...

kukukajoo, LPN 1,310 Posts Jan 4, 2008 Can someone explain the difference between and functional resume and a chronological resume? Actually I know what a chron. resume is, I guess I am wondering the format and what is included, etc. about the finctional resume. It sounds like as a student this may be a better option. I have many management and office and HR skills from my past life I want to highlight without necessarily going all into everything....Maybe I should have both...
