I'm going to start Anatomy and Physio 1 next semester and wanted an idea of how to pass. Like did you study before the semester and course began? How did you study for it? We're you ever nervous? I feel as though with me worrying so much about the future, I might doubt and then it'll interfere with my self esteem and capability of passing

I got the speed anatomy app (mine was for ios but I believe android has the app as well) It helped a lot with the basics, not so useful for the more in-depth material. I also created digital flash cards on powerpoint (one slide has a question or picture, the next has the answer) that seemed to help. Actually sitting down and reading your courses text also helps.
I am also schedule to take A&P 1 for Spring semester. I have already ordered my books...and plan to start reading the material a few weeks before class starts. My sister has already taken the class and she gave me the Netters Anatomy flash cards and the Anatomy for Dummies book. She said they both helped her a lot. I also plan to have a white board to draw things out....so I can study them. I am good with visual learning...so I think that will help me:-) GOOD LUCK!

I took A&P at the beginning of this year in the spring at a previous school that I transferred from, and did great in it. I loved the class. It was my first time taking A&P and I was nervous at the very beginning but quickly fell in love with it. For studying, I used flashcards, youtube videos, visual diagrams, and I drew out many of the diagrams myself in order to better understand the material. I also read the chapter before each class, and attentively took notes during every lecture, as well as recording my lectures.
I'm re-taking A&P this coming spring semester, since my new school didn't accept the transfer credit, and I am extremely excited to start. I plan to do the same things I did when I took the class the first time, using all the resources available to me. A&P is a very time-consuming class an takes a LOT of dedication to ace. It's not an incredibly hard class, it's just an incredible amount of information. Go into it with a positive attitude, and with the plan to devote a good amount of time studying for it, and you will do fine.
