Hello, has anyone attended or heard of Premier International College in Florida? If so, can you tell me your experience? I'm from California so I just want to make sure that this school is legitimate. It sounds similar to International College of Health Sciences. I called Premier and they said that it's a 2 year online ASN program, less than 2 years if pre-reqs are completed prior to admission. Clinicals are in-person at the end of each term; 10 days, 12 hours each shift.
Lavender Love said:I am starting this month. The format is similar to ICHS main difference is that they take financial aid and federal loans. I was planning on going to ICHS , however, Premiere is more cost effective for me. It is slightly cheaper than ICHS depending on how many of your pre reqs they accept. Downside they will not accept outside Microbiology class everyone has to take it regardless if you have taken it before. I also have to take college algebra because they don't accept statistics. Also prerequisites are not covered by financial aid from what I heard. With that all said I will still be done with the program in a shorter time frame.
Hey did you ever get to the exit test?
Lavender Love said:I am currently at Premiere . They are legit because they get federal loans and financial aid. Those other schools were literally selling degrees the people never attended any classes or clinicals.
Did you ended up graduating ? How is it now
Lavender Love said:I'm still attending. I'm in the second half of med Surg. Each class is three months. You have to be present in class at 3:00 PM. A lot of people are working full time but it's pretty hard but doable. I work 6 days a week but I have a flexible schedule.
Can you email me please I wouldn't know how is it now ?
Lavender Love said:I sent you a message to your inbox .
I don't think Ik how to inbox on her
The worst school I have ever attended:
Red flags school where the administration mistreats students. Look elsewhere for your nursing education.
Non-transferrable credits are a major limitation. Investigate accreditation and failed to inform students about credit transfer policies. Look elsewhere for your nursing education.
Unethical practices and no clinicals sites such as student clinical placements. I enrolled as a RN and was sent to a retirement facilities numerous times to trained as a Nursing Assistant
This school should be avoided at all cost.
@Gordon Johnson How long ago did you attend this school? Did you end up transferring or did you complete the program?
