Hi,
I am new to this Forum. I am planning to Join for the LVN course in Preferred College of Nursing , in Van Nuys, CA.
They are charging $17500 for the course.
Please let me know if this is a good place to do LVN and also is the fees okay.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi! I attended Casa Loma College in Van Nuys and graduated in October 2005. The Preferred College of Nursing is very new, which has a disadvantage.
Personally, I'd prefer to attend a school that has been around for a few years and has an established NCLEX pass rate. Casa Loma's NCLEX pass rate was at 84 percent. Ask the admissions people at the Preferred College of Nursing about accreditation and pass rates for NCLEX. If it all sounds satisfactory, I'd say go for it.
Good luck! :)
Thanks for the info.
I will also check about Casa Loma College in Van Nuys .
Thanks

go to a community college and go straight for your RN it's cheaper. BUT it also depends where you want to work

Hi, does anyone know which entrance exam Preferred College of Nursing uses? Do they use the HOBET NET or the TABE or the HESI?
Thanks so much

Hello - did you end up attending preferred college of nursing or casa loma? I am trying to decide between the two.
Hiii I attended the Preffered college batch 12
What was it like? Was it a good experience? Did you do the full time or part time? What hospitals did you do clinicals at? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just trying to get enough info to make a decision. Thank you.

In my expereince, I had such a hard time with the nursing program. I thought it would be easy but wow they make everything at Preferred College of Nursing so hard. I would say all that sweat paid off. I was really glad I made the right choice in joining them. I hope you had the same good expereince like me.
