I'm starting my pre-req's for nursing school next year and I was just wondering, what type of math classes are required for getting into nursing school and are they hard?
Keep in mind I am HORRIBLE at math. I am willing to work hard to pass the classes though.
Any input would be great!
Thanks

Everyone is right! I was suppose to take college algebra in order to get my Associate degree in arts and a satistics class in order to transfer to a BA degree. Well the math I needed for my BA only required a general type of math and the stats class for my BA was social stats. I decided to take the easy route.
Now I had to take elementry algebra in order to take that general math class. So to my suprise I have enough math for the ADN, however, I know for a BSN program here in nc where I live you need college algebra. This is the same for chem. They allow you to take the bare minimum to get your ADN, but if you plan on getting your BSN you have to take the higher chem for it to transfer.
So I kind of figured why take the lowest chem if it won't transfer because i do plan on a BSN. I could kick myself from trying to go the easiest route. In education I've learned it you take college level once you won't have to take it again no matter what program your in. Now I have taken 4 math classes in my education and I know I'm not through.
As far as math I need alot of help too. I absolutly love biology and have no problems yet! I have taken general bio and human anatomy class and did very well. However, with math I had to stay, I mean stay, in the teachers face asking questions and re-doing math problems till it was time to take the test. With hard work I know you can do it. I have a friend who was in my math class, she's in her 40's. She usually get C's in math like I do. But she took it by itself and got an A
