Tallahassee community college RN program spring 2018

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey guys I'm currently taking my last prerequisites for entry into the RN program this spring. So here are my stats: 145/160.. haven't taken the hesi yet, I plan to do after this semester is over. Talk to me. Let's hear some stats

Nikita Patel, do you have the Evolve Elsevier review book?

Yes, I do have. Did you take yet?

I am taking mine next Thursday, but I have done many hours of research on this site about the test and as long as you have studied that book well you should be fine! The only thing that the book doesn't cover is all the vocabulary, as I've heard. I would just go over all those sets of rules for the grammar section especially. I hope you make the score you want!

Hey good luck on you test and I just used any review books and examples I could find. It's not as bad as you might think. And smoothdoc94 how do you have that score without the Hesi? Your score is too high to not have taken the Hesi yet

Hey Midastoich I had a question, did you take the test at TCC and if so was there a calculator on the screen during the math section?

Nikita Patel, please let us know how you did on your hesi today! :) I hope you are happy with your scores.

Yes I took it at TCC and it's a basic calculator bit more the enough

Hi LawsonP,

My total is 81.50. I got 100 in math, but English is not my thing. So I failed grammar section with 68. vocabulary 78, reading 80. It's pretty easy but tricky. good luck to you! I'll take my 2nd attempt after 15 days.

Hey nikita don't worry you have another attempt please keep us posted on how you do

Hello guys,

I have one question. I'm taking my 2nd attempt after 1 week. So my question is that which score going to consider? whole test or particular subject?

TCC will consider the overall highest score you got between your first and second attempt

You must try and get the highest score possible I was told that TCC will not take anything under a 90. But to answer your question TCC takes the highest score possible but over all it must be above a certain average over the 4 sub test, which if I'm not mistaken is a 75. The testing center and a nursing advisor told me that a 90 is what they look for. But I've heard some students got in with a lower score but high gpa. Good luck
