LPN or RN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello Everyone,

I really hope I can get some good advice bcz I am very confused! :/ I had decided on going into LPN to get working faster, I am 22 yo married with no kids, my husband recently got a goodnpaying job & wants me to focus on school, my last step for LPN is the Teas test which I have already failed once, I just bought the ATI study guide to study it more & hopefully pass to begin in January, but I've also been coming to the idea of going straight for RN at College, I know it's expensive but my husband & I kind of think it's worth it having that I won't be on a waiting list for so long, I don't mind having debt as long as I get my nursing degree, have any of you attended Rasmussen nursing program, I hear dumped that it isn't accredited but I actually called to the Fl BON today & they confirmed that the program is indeed accredited! I have a nursing session to go to on Friday.. Anyway, what would you do? Any advice is welcomed! Thanks in advance! :)

I would go for the RN because there is more opportunity to continue your education. Other than that I've heard that LPN's have similar job descriptions. I don't know from personal experience, I'm just starting my RN program on the 26Th of this month.
