just took the NET

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hey..I just took the NET this morning and im so bummed. I feel very good about the math and everything but the reading comprehension. We had 30 minutes to answer 33 questions. And each question had a pretty lengthy paragraph to read. I ended up not finishing like 7 of them so I just randomly bubbled in the last 7..Im so sad and mad and angry at myself. I've been sulking all day and I really hate myself right now :o . I was talking to my mom about it and she was telling me to just calm down and that it's pretty humanly impossible to be able to read every little thing and answer 33 questions in 30 minutes. She thinks doing that is the whole point of the test..why would they do that though? I dunno..I'm just so very worried right now. How did yall do? Please share any comments or experiences..I would really appreciate it. Thanks and have a great day!

p.s. how long did it take to get your results?

Try now to feel so down on yourself. You probably did quite well. I took a HESI entrance exam and we had the results the same day but didn't know if we were admitted until the admissions committee met. Sit tight, good luck & keep us posted. :)

I agree, don't worry about it just yet. I took it twice last year and although that was the lowest part of my score, I passed it. The last time I took the test, the last 3 questions didn't even get bubbled in...but I passed! Best of luck to you!

I agree with the above posts. Best wishes to you!

Hey there,

I took the NET on 1/6 and received my results yesterday, 1/11/06.

I felt bad about the test once I left, but I passed!

I am sure you did fine as well.

I felt the same way after the ACT. Had to fill in some bubbles randomly at the end of the science test and was sure that I had blown it, but had a much better score than I had even imagined possible.

Maybe some or most of the ones you just filled in at the end are correct. You never know.
