I am torn between two programs for my ABSN. One is about 45 minutes away, and the other is about 1.5 hours away. My family will support me either way, but they think that a 3 hour total commute to school for 17 months will get old really quick. I know the 1st semester you only have to go for one day, but the other 14 or so months I think it's about everyday with clinicals and all.
So how far do you or will you commute to your school? For those of you with a longer commute, how is it going? Thanks!
When I was in school for my CST, it was a 1 hour drive to school each morning. It is doable but the real hard part is clinicals. I had to be there at 6am, so I had to wake @ 4am to be on the road by 4:45am to get to the hospital @ 5:50am to start learning @ 6am. It took my body a few weeks to adjust to driving home after clinicals for an hour. But I did it and if you really want it and it's the one that you get into, you can do it too!!! Best of luck!

I live across the street from my school. Starting LPN to RN this fall. I guess it can't get any better than that!!!
