Hello newonboard,

I noticed your post because I know that Genetics is required for the MbEIN (Master's Entry) program at UConn, which I am considering. Are you applying to that program? If not, what programs also require Genetics?

I would talk to the admissions office of the school to which you are applying and see if it is okay that you take it online.

you're right that's the prog. I'm applying for. Due to some certain reasons I might not be able to attend clases that's why i'm looking at the possiblity of online. have u taken Genetics or just planning to.

I have not taken it yet. I am planning to do so if I end up applying to UConn's MbEIN program. I will wait and see if the other schools I have applied to will accept me first. If I don't get in anywhere (or choose not to go), I will take Genetics and apply to UConn. You need to have the prereqs done for them to review your application.

I have just finished A&P 1, am taking A&P 2 in the Spring, and Micro over the summer. What prereqs have you completed? What other schools are you applying to?

I only applied to UCONN and QUINNIPIAC. I have taken A&P I & II, Micro Chem and Bio.
