Has, or will, anyone be appling to 's BSN (ACE) program or JHU's accelerated BSN program for 2006? If so, let's talk.

I applied early d to JHU in bmore. I am also taking out loans, but lowering them slightly by joining the navy. i did not have any sort of stellar college gpa or anything, but i did alright. i was really surprised when they called me though. but i am super excited.

let me know if you have any qs.

Anne,

Congrats on your acceptance! So, are you going full-time active when you are done? In fact, one of the reasons I want to get into nursing is to rejoin the military(reserve component) as an officer and retire after 15 years. Also, I'd love to help out over in Iraq or Afghanistan -- hopefully, I'll get into school next year. I really miss the camaraderie one found in the military.

Can you expound more on your Navy contract?

Hi everyone!

I also applied to the ABSN program for March 2006. isn't my first choice, mainly because I live in central Jersey, I'd have to dorm or find off-campus housing. I do love the Philly area and also found Drexel to have the most ideal Accelerated BSN program since it's short and sweet. What I don't get is how come the 80+ credits? That seems rather high! I've been accepted to Seton Hall and UMDNJ and their programs are no more than 64 credits and that's in 14 months!

I'd love to hear from someone who can convince me to stick to Drexel's program. (pros & cons) And I want to know when decision letters are sent out! (when/if you get one..let me know..**please**) :)

Can you expound more on your Navy contract?

sure.

I am getting 10000 sign on bonus and 1000 a month while i am in school, then i owe them four years.

hope that helps. I look forward to the military, even though i am sure there are better financial options. :)

peace,

anne

Hello! I will be starting the program this fall. I applied in October but did not receive my acceptance letter until March. I like the fact that their program is short, even if it is hectic. I had to contact Drexel constantly in order to get responses which was a little annoying, however I am looking forward to the fall. Good luck with admissions!
