i was wondering if any of you have experience taking a&p ii over a 3 week summer course? it is the closest course to my house and offered in the evening. the other classes are further and i would need childcare (which i don't really have the $$ for.

i am currently taking a&p i and my grade so far is 97%. i am really tempted to do this but i have to have a b for the class to count.

any advice/info would be much appreciated. tia!

That sounds risky...

Sounds like you have a good handle on it. Don't be scared, if you put the effort into it you will do fine. I have to take a three week CHEM course next month, so I'm right there with ya. Good Luck!!

Wow! 3 weeks sounds intense!! You obviously have a good handle so far, but will you be able to devote enough time out of class to keep up? Can you work out daycare for your kids for just the 3 weeks so you can really focus on the class? I feel your pain on childcare expenses. I about died when I found out what it would cost to put my 2 in full time daycare this Fall. I'm trying to get creative with my scheduling and rely on family as much as possible to cut down on that expense.

How is that even possible? What are the days and hours?

Mine is 6 hours days ( 3 hrs lec, 3 hr lab), 5 days a week for 3 weeks.!!!!

WOW! And I thought I was crazy taking Spanish 1 and 2 over the summer (6 weeks each) I just don't see how the brain can retain all that information. We gotta do what we gotta do. :)

Good luck

a 97 in a&p1? that's impressive :)! sounds like you should have a great foundation for a&p2. don't be intimidated by the intensity. you know what your up against, just buckle down and give it your all:heartbeat

my advice: go for it!

the class is MTWR 5:30 - 10 pm. it seems crazy to me but they offer it every summer so it must be possible, right? it doesn't start until july so i would the whole month of june to try to study and get ahead for a & p II. thanks so much for the feedback!

I got an A+ in AP 1 and A&P 2 an A so far. I still think it is too risky. You might end up with a B. If you think u can handle it, go for it. Good Luck!

I ended up with an A in both A&P 1 & 2, took A&P 1 over the summer (6 weeks). A&P 2 was more intense and I took it over the fall semester which was longer than the summer. It is risky but if you have no other option you can still break away with a B.
