hey everyone! i am about to take a pre-nursing exam for b.s. in nursing. Does anyone know anything about it and if so what is it basically about? How should i go about preparing for it?thanks!

The math is easy but the reading comp. can be tricky.Go to the ERI website and order their study guide - it is exactly like the test. You can also buy a practice test on their site to do online. Did you search for other threads?
tccjknv 80 Posts Jan 1, 2008 Hi,I had to take the NLN. It is comprised of math, vocabulary, and science. There is a book that is specifically designed to prepare you for this test. I found that many of the questions on my test came right out of the study guide. Unfortunately I can't tell you the name of the book because I lent it out, but the school bookstore should sell it.Good luck!

B/C i have checked in to 2 different schools for the program and 1 calls the test NET and the other calls it HESI.

The HESI looks like it is those plus science.I took the NET and didn't find it to hard, passed the first time even though I ran out of time on the comp. part.

tccjknv 80 Posts Jan 1, 2008 I looked it up on my school's website. It is called, National League for Nursing Review Guide for RN Pre-Entrance Exam. The website did not list the author, so I am still unsure on that.
dass4 20 Posts Jan 2, 2008 Has anyone taken the TEAS? I'm not sure what to study the most for...does it contain math & english only? What is a passing grade considered? Are there any STICKY's here for study guide on the TEAS?? Thanks for the help!!
