I have to take it soon too!!! I am nervous also!!! Let me know how you do. You will pass....just breath!!!!!
lol omg. the test is hard as i thought. Very few verbs are from the practice book. I have a feeling I am not doing well on it. lol 3 words for this time. "Not enough time" >
btw, this test is quite confusing with the answers and questions especially on math.

they let you go back to the other sections??? was this the NLN exam?
the verbal part was the hardest for me too!! you can study alot for the math & science parts, but it's not like you can teach yourself the whole english language in a matter of a few weeks or months.
Stay positive though- i thought i bombed the verbal part, but i ended up scoring in the 87th percentile for it. Not the best, BUT i scored 98 on math and 99 on science, so it put my composite score in the 97th percentile. I guess the verbal doesnt carry as much weight in the overall- so if you did well on the other parts, you should be fine.
good luck!.... and the best part is, that its done, and out of the way!! :w00t:

Is this the same as the pre-RN assessment? I've talked to a few people that have taken the assessment and they said that the book was a great help to them.

Do you know which pre-entrance exam you were taking? When I took the TEAS I was not allowed to go back through, but with the PSB I was. :)
hmm I believe it's Pre-PAX one.

I have to take the NET test. Has anyone taken it? Can you give me some pointers? I have the practice book, and a friend is taking it also so we are going to study together. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
my composite score is 79. Is that a good score? lol or do I need to retake the exam again?
Hi Amiee, depends how competitive the program you are applying to is. I applied to one school with a composite score of 79. However, that's considered a little low at another school I've applied too.

I used the McDonald book, practiced math for a few weeks before the test and hoped for the best on the science. I scored high on math and verbal. I attributed it to the McDonald study guide. I got a lot of questions I knew on the science section and thanked God for that. I was somewhat lost on the physics questions, but nonetheless the composite was better than I expected.
Remember the measure of your score is based on how well you do in relation to the other test takers.
Good luck!
