i was just wondering if they watch you when use the restroom for the urine screen????

I had to have an observed drug test just to be able to volunteer at the hospital near me!

They did not watch me, but she did come into the bathroom with me...and poured this green solution in the toilet before I could go. I guess it may turn a different color if synthetic urine gets into the toilet. IDK pretty sophisticated is right!

Took urine test in small bathroom with door 3/4 shut while nurse was outside the door. No dye in toilet, standard no flush or washing hands. Nurse needed urine above the temp line, I would say approximately 30 ml

Just go for an oil change

While I am not interested in working with drug users, I am less interested in working with any nurse too dumb to figure out how to get 37 degree untainted urine into a cup.

I am a newly graduated RN and am researching the topic and am thankful for the diverse answers and testimonies...please expand on your reply...she had to take the test twice in the same day? Was called in to take the test after hire? Please explain the rational and procedure for "having to take the test twice"....

Haha!!...the logic and wit to that made me laugh out loud...very true statement..however, I am curious about the direct observation...and how long urine could stay next to your body before going below teh 37 degrees (if you walked around with some in your bra, for instance during a 12 hour shift....)
