I am in section 1003 with Professor C. P-----. Anyone in it with me?

And those who have had it, how bad is it? Is every week a big deal, or are some weeks easier than others??

Also had prof "difficult conversations" - I complained a lot! but it wasn't a difficult class. Did mine when we were still on the old quarters system - along with 2 nursing classes.

Brighteyednursygirl trust me when I say I never used this book at all and I had the same professor. Only book I used was the paperback "difficult conversations" which we had to do a book review on. The rest of the assignments came from articles he had posted

I have the female professor for this class. So far none of my course work is assigned, was hoping to get a jump start on things this morning. Anyone else having issues?

Section 1003. I have access to the material but cannot find the proofreading video or test. I find it very frustrating when blackboard doesn't work.

I was just added to Prof Male F's class. Its going to take a few days for the registrar to add me can anybody tell me what I should be working on the next couple of days. Reading assignments etc. I know I should probably be reading difficult conversations but is there anything else that I would be missing. I prob won't have the course in blackboard until Wed they said. Thanks for your help.

SWATRN you got in? I just finished the class with him and I know other student's who were trying to get in and couldn't. First 2 weeks are discussion board posts which you have 2 weeks to do and a reading response on an article which you also have 2 weeks to do.

So nothing due for two weeks. Awesome! I have the difficult conversations book from when I was registered for F. Female's summer course so I was going to read that:). I didn't really expect to get in based on what was being said on FB but I emailed him last night explaining my situation and he said to have my advisor go ahead and get me registered I forwarded them that email and they did but they send a permission slip to the registrar and the you are at their mercy for when they actually register you. I called and they said as early as tonight as late as the end of the week but most likely by Wed. I am holding my breath until I see it in blackboard. I feel like its too good to be true!

It is not a bad class with him at all....really. You have to post an initial DB post and answer 3 others in 2 weeks. Doesn't even have to be APA. You are lucky you got in girl as others on FB were told a big NO by him. DON"T buy the book. I never used it!

woodsyny, Glad to hear this class is doable. I am taking 2 other nursing classes Fall I and a class at the JC. So I guess I will not buy that book if we do not need it. Whew! One less expense! thanks! :)
