to make a long story short, I have taken the NCLEX RN twice and have failed. I take it for a third time in about a week and I am beyond nervous/anxious/scared to death for it. I did a Kaplan review, did all of the Kaplan Qbank questions and many more from iPad/iphone apps, etc. I have also reviewed lots of content (kaplan) especially content that I did poorly on from my first two attempts. I will continue to doing practice questions and studying lab values, medications, and things like that but I'm wondering if there is something more that I should really be focusing on? Having been graduated since May 2013, I feel like i no longer have classmates to discuss with.
Hi Utadahikaru I would love to hear your thoughts about the NCLEX being a piece of cake and knowing how it works. I am also a repeat test taker and really find advice on this test very helpful! Thanks greatly!
Kate, I believe your issue is your Anxiety. Anxiety clouds your brain during the NCLEX-RN exam and then you cannot think critically to arrive at the safest option. Please figure out a way to control your anxiety, b4 taking that exam. I wish you success. You can DO IT!
