Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

So we have the option to select courses? I thought we have to take all the 4 classes in semester 1. Do anyone know if PV do like some other schools that do some classes in 8 weeks interval.

Guys, I hope to get in... I am very happy with this forum because all of you guys have a positive attitude. I love to share questions and that we can help each other. Thank you for all your responses. :)

Hello olouma, we have the option of taking only three classes because we are spring students. You can take three in Spring and one in Summer. I think this will be the best thing to do ;)

i DEFF. dont plan on working during the program! bc i mean its really INTENSE (so ive heard). but i mean if you are really REALLY good then im sure you can do both & still do really good :) I mean im lucky to where i dont have to work.. but i mean other ppl HAVEEE to do both.

omg! yay we do? omg that would be soo much easier that way we can start getting the hang of things! okay im all talking like i got accepted lol let me tone it down lol

I started working on my calculations and pharmacology too. If you put pharmacology in the search bottom, you can find a person that posted like 240 flash cards about what we need to know. He did an amazing job because he broke down every medicine. I am doing this just in case because they say pharm is a difficult subject. Also, I have found many scholarships. If someone is interesting let me know, however these scholarships are when you get in the program.

Does anyone has a plan B in case you don't get accepted? I applied for TWU and PV, but my stats for TWU don't look good. If I don't get in this semester I have to start thinking in another degree.

Hey Moneca! I applied for TWU, UTHSC, and PV. I'm really hoping I'd get into PV because I'm not core complete for TWU and my stats aren't good enough for UTHSC. Like I said before, PV is my last hope. I've thought about changing my major, but I honestly don't know what else I want to do..

Me 2 @Itzkneemo, except I'm going to working full time. Luckily I have a job that I can study while I work.

That's what I'm going to do @lalacb123. I don't know if I want to change majors at this point. I plan to work while applying. Yes, I'm really stressed and discouraged, but I'm not giving up yet. If I don't get accepted, I'll work on higher my stats for the next application period, while working.

i hope we all get accepted and get to meet each other this would be an amazing study group!

You are right Lauren, however you have been accepted to Lonestar. Congratulations
