Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

Can you guys tell me about the ceremony you guys are talking about? What is it? Sorry, I don't know about these things.

Lauren, can I become a member? I would like too, but I have to pay the fees and what about if I don't get accepted. Also, are the community services at Prairie view TX, or they have it at Houston too? I spoke with a lady name *****, but I am so confused. She told me to become a member first and then pay the fees, but probably she does not that I am transfer student. The organization is only for students that goes to PV or can be for transfer too? Thank you

Hello itzkneemo, I don't know exactly, but is am organization for nursing students. The ceremony is to welcome the students that have been accepted to the program.

hello all, is the in-house application the same as the purple app. I received an email and was told that the in-house application has been mailed.

Hey moneca yea pvsna they have a lot of community service at the main campus and it's hard to be a member at the campus and not go there because they have meetings every Tuesday about upcoming community service. At CON they have nsna (national student nurses association) along with other organizations and Greek org. But yea you have to pay the fees first either for a year or two years and then you can participate in the comm. service.... As far as pvsna white coat ceremony you have to have your fees and your scrubs by the ceremony date.

Yes it is for transfers it's the purple app and for current students you had to print it off the website.

Hello everyone! Im new to this.. but has deff. been stalking yalls convo! lol I also applied for spring 2014 for prairie view & for HBU. I got accepted to HBU.. but the cost is WAYYYYY high.. i didnt think about that part when i was applying.. but im very very HAPPY i got accepted! .. however, im hoping prairie view comes through for me. However.. im looking at everyone's stats and they r REALLY GOOD!! so im a little worried! WELL best of luck to everyone! i guess we will find out in a couple of weeks! this wait sucks :/
