Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

Yes, it seems as if everyone that has been placed on the waiting list the previous semester is accepted the next semester. PV takes priority of waitlist members, current PV students, and students that have finished all pre-reqs in a first come, first serve basis.

Hey everyone :) I just got an evaluation back from ******* that says I have met all requirements and that she has mailed me the In-house clinical application to complete and return. What does that mean? Does it mean that I have been accepted?

hey @ash_2013 welcome to the forum! it means you have met all of the requirements to be considered a competitive applicant! when did you apply?

Hello everyone I am new to allnurses. I put in my application on September 25, all prerequisite are done. I see that some of you all talking about a purple app I didn't see that and is that apart of the application?

I turned in my app on September 27th... everything was completed. What do you mean by "competitive applicant"? Does this mean that I still am NOT accepted yet? I'm a little confused lol... Also, I haven't gotten this app in the mail yet. What does it entail?

the deadline was october 1 they wont send out acceptance/denial letters until the end of the month.

the acceptance letter is included with a packet of things you need to get done i.e immunizations cpr certification and background check.

Hi Remmie2007 welcome! the purple app is the application you get once all your prereqs are done. since you applied on the 25 you should have gotten it. you may want to call and see whats going on. What are your stats? hesi score, gpa!?

A P : 80

Reading: 88

Critical thinking: 880

Gpa : 3.5

Those are good stats! and no problem the application is such a hassle especially for transfers.. are you a transfer student?
