Hello!! I passed the HESI:D now its time to start application process! Any one else out there?? time is flying..I'm also applying to UT-Arlington!!

Is anyone taking summer school classes?

Blackberrie: what class did you take for summer? or which one do you recommend to take off the class load?

yes you can. You can take 2 electives/, or one elective and either patho, basics or health assessment/ or 1 class...well, i know patho is usually available in the summer. Im assuming its the same for the other two courses. A counselor at the college of nursing would know for sure. I didnt take any summer classes. I would reccomend taking patho in the summer because its the hardest out of these three classes and it will demand more studying than the others. However, you know yourself best, so if you think you can handle it and can manage your time well you should take them all at once. Dont let anyone scare you into dropping a class.

So if we are accepted for this fall we can take summer class before orientation?

I believe so, thats what some people did who were addmitted fall '10. Check with the counselor though because she obviously will be more informed than me. I heard most of this by word of mouth.

I would love to!! However I dont have a facebook anymore. It was causing me more problems than it was worth.

How long after you turned in your packet did you wait for another letter and what did it say? Thank you

O they told us a couple days ago they have no information about summer school yet, but once they know they will inform us. Because the goverment is cutting alot of funding and releasing funding later than usual this year, they are really unsure whats gonna happen.

And i dont recall getting another letter after i submitted everything. Im assuming yall will have a meeting sometime in april when registration starts, and thats when yall will get class information and yalls pin to registar for classes for fall and hopefully summer..but as far as recieving another letter, i cant remember
