Hello!! I passed the HESI:D now its time to start application process! Any one else out there?? time is flying..I'm also applying to UT-Arlington!!

wow there is so much to do in short amount of time.. insurance/shots/paper work..ahhh..but excited to know that nursing school is finally going to start..

did any one find cheap insurance? I need help with that

yes and not to forget to sign the very bottom. I took mine to get signed before I sent off my package.

navyvet28, You already sent in your packet? I still have about a couple shots left. Did your immunization record sheet look half blank due to the fact that some shots require you to come back next month? How about your insurance situation? I remember you saying that you go to the hospital for free? I'm thinking about getting the school insurance, how about you?

I had all my titres pulled bc Im prior military and was a medic in the Navy, so I had all my shots. And the titres just showed the levels in my body. But Im pretty sure if you need them next month or in a couple months just let them know when they will be next and update them. About the insurance, I jsut got a letter from the V.A. hospital that said i was receiving health care benefits there. But if that's not good, I'll end up with the school insurance. Also don't forget to email them about your intent to accept. I did adn she emailed me back. Did you add us on FB yet? PVAMU Nursing students Fall 2011.

:rotfl:, no. That would be an epic disaster. You can only take certain classes each semester, but you can choose the times, days, and teachers. For example, first semester students take basic concepts, health assessment, and pathophysiology. You cant take pharm, because that is a second semester course. HOWEVER, you can lighten your load by taking a class or two in the summer. For example, take health assessment summer of 2011 and basics and patho fall of 2011. This holds true for all the semester. But, this will not enable you to graduate faster, only to lighten your course load.
