Hey everyone, My test is scheduled for Sept. 15th. I have been doing 100 questions a day to prepare and I am having a really hard time staying focused while taking these practice tests. I am scared if I get the 265 I'll lose focus. I just have a real hard time sitting still and concentrating. Anyone else having problems?
How many hours a day do you spend on studying?
I spend anywhere from 2-4 hours a day (not continuously though...) I actually sort of changed my plan...Right now I'm reading the book (to refresh me), I'm doing Pharmacology right now and I'm almost done..I plan to do at least 2 chapters per day...I'd spend about 30 minutes reading then break for 15 minutes then back to reading otherwise I lose focus if I read straight through. I also write down important details from my reading. Once I'm done with my reading, I'll switch to watching the DVD live course that the review course that I've attended before sent me (...free...since I failed my first attempt.. it's a classroom based DVD...kinda like attending the live course again but more detailed). It's a 30-hour long DVD. Then I'll proceed with practice questions..I plan to do around 3000 questions before I schedule my exam ( I just got the approval from the BON)..I figure I have about 1 1/2 months to prepare...If I continue with my plan I should be alright. My reading will take me 2 weeks to complete, then 1 week with the DVD then 4-5 weeks practicing questions. I plan to take the exam again 2nd week of October but if I feel I'm not ready, I'll resched...Hope this plan works for me!
