Read the Excelsior EPN board for positive comments about the clinical exam. Also search the forums here for positive views of Excelsior's program. This program is not impossible, otherwise, there will be no Excelsior nursing grads. Those exams you've failed is pretty difficult, but don't give up on retaking those exams, and don't give up on Excelsior just yet. Of course the negative feedback you've read is from mostly from students who've failed the program, but there are people who've passed the program and is satisfied with Excelsior.

((Hugs)). Don't second guess about Excelsior. There are several on this board that has graduated from the program including myself.(Feb 2009). I failed HD2 and Transitions. Those test are difficult if you don't study the right way, you will fail. If your using studyguides bought off Ebay, consider buying the text book. I bought the medsurg book and psych book. Also you NEED to buy the EC practice exams. They are a must! All I can say is dust yourself off and keep it moving and don't procrastinate. Change the way you study. I did and now I am a RN working on a busy neuro floor.
Oh and the CPNE is not impossible to pass. Read your studyguide. Practice your critical elements and labs. I also recommend attending a workshop and control your nerves. There are so many resources out there. It is a very doable exam. Go to the EC EPN board and see all the people who pass that exam every week. Stop listening to all the bitter people who tell you stuff from hear say or who are not prepared and did not pass. There are more passing than failing.
thanks for the positive feedback i needed hat
thanks so much,,,i needed that
thank you so much

hi marybaze,
no doubt excelsior is a tough program, i failed 2 exams as well and still ended up passing my cpne and nclex the first time around. don't be discouraged. worry only about your current exam and worry about the cpne when it comes. you can do this...stay positive!!!
good luck!!!
