I would absolutely make sure that a confirmation email isn't in a junk or trash folder. Do you have an online learning center? Any class we register for shows up there and that is our confirmation. Then I would contact education and training and tell them what happened and see if they can figure it out on their end. I would then GO to the UM, not an email and explain what happened. You can also write a rebuttal on the write up that goes back to HR.
Not unionized. And I do plan on going to my UM, but she is leaving for vacation.
I have checked all my emails. I received an email for registration without a date or time since I was on the wait list for the class, but nothing else.
Also of note we have a brand new online system for classes
I'm confused, you missed a class they didn't tell you that you where in, and now if you're late for work or have to call out then you're fired?
OP had apparently accumulated enough prior points for calling out/being late that the points for the "no call no show" on the class day triggered some corrective action.

can you call her?
I'm curious how many of these points you can get before they case warnings and write ups. Do they start falling off gradually, or will nothing happen at all until 6 months and then they're all gone? 6 months is a long time to have nothing happen. Is there anything you might qualify for FMLA for?
I did get in contact with my manager, and she told me not to worry about the class since the new system has some glitches.
The points fall off one year from the date they occurred, so I have several falling off but if the no show for ther class would have counted then I would have been in disciplinary action and therefore none would fall off and I would have to go 6 months with no occurrences whatsoever or face immediate termination.

I am very stressed out about possibly being written up for time & attendance. Recently, I received an attendance "warning" (not write up) related to my attendance points- we have a system that tracks points over a year and tardy is 0.5 points & a call out is 1 point.
I have been working to clear my points, because after 6 months of no tardies or call outs your points go back to zero. However, I recently registered on a wait list for a CPR class at work. I never received an email or any notification that I was off the wait list, however I was reported as a no-show. According to our attendance policy, a missed class is regarded as a call out. Because of this, I will now have a formal write up and be automatically terminated if I have any tardies or absences in the next 6 months.
while I don't intend on doing so, I worry about incidentals! I have emailed my manager regarding the situation, but have not received an email reply (I am off work for a few days)
I am so stressed about this!
Any advice/ people who have been in a similar situation?
