I applied for the Legacy Residency Program. I would also like to hear from others to see their thoughts on the process and whether or not they think their initial interview went well and any advice for those of us that may apply again. It was a little intimidating to see the number of applicants applying. Does anyone know how many overall residents they are taking? Thank osbick bird for starting this post.
I applied for Legacy's women's health residency program. My interview went as well as I could have expected... A lot of it depends on if they're hiring on the unit or not.
I haven't heard back from the unit and am keeping my fingers crossed.
Some stats I've heard through my nursing program: there were about 1800 applicants to the program, my guess is that 800 people were interviewed, and there are about 43 spots. That's the just hearsay in my nursing program, so take it with a grain of salt.
I applied to the Legacy program and did their pre-screen in-person interviews. I thought it went well. There as a ton of applicants though. I haven't heard anything yet about a second interview. They said we could receive calls up to a month later about a second interview and then a month later for the job offer. I wonder who has time to wait around that long?

Seems like it'd be nice to have a thread up for anybody applying for the Legacy or the Adventist Versant programs, there's got to be a few people going for one or both! Word has it that Kaiser is also starting a new grad program but I don't have any details about it.
I'm interviewing for both programs, hoping for something in the critical care/cardiac stepdown/ED universe. Anybody else?
