Portage Learning in Metro Atlanta

Published

Hey everyone,

This is my first post. I want to know if anyone has used Portage Learning specifically for science courses with labs, and which specific schools (if any) accepted those courses. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it. I need to knock out these prereqs for nursing school.

Well, I was going to add that Herzing and Chamberlain also accept. The $90K price tag is a bit much (It would be less with transfer credits). It also takes 3 years because it is designed to go from nothing to a BSN. I already have a bachelors degree. I don't want to spend semesters doing nothing because the rest of the cohort is doing classes I've already done.

Hi there! Did you mention that Herzing accepts Portage learning? Do you happen to know if they also except the science courses from Portage learning? (A&P I, A&P II & Microbiology?) I am considering attending, but only if they accept Portage learning. They don’t accept SL sciences, but accept all other SL courses. Thank you so much in advance. Take care!

I believe they do.  SL is not associated with any college.  Portage is, and your transcript will say "Geneva College".  Check with them though to be sure.
