Hello I have submitted an application to the Evening/Weekend RN program at Pomeroy College of Nursing in Syracuse, NY. I am wondering if anyone else has applied to the program. The program starts Spring 2017 (January) and is 18 months long. I can't wait to receive an admission decision. I look forward to hearing from graduates of the program, current students, and prospective candidates.
The interview is very informal. She just took my to a classroom and was very funny and friendly. She read basic questions and one I remember in particular was "when was there a time you had an obstacle that you had to overcome and how did you overcome it?" After my interview, she took me around the college. I saw the Sim lab and I haven't seen St. Joes but it is fully modern and up to date
I just got called for the interview. I hope it goes well I am so nervous.
Hey all, I am looking forward to starting the program. I am going to orientation on 1/11-1/13. I wonder if that is just the orientation for the day program or if it is for the evening/weekend program as well.
Any interview tips? Did you get accepted for the day program? I just applied for fall 2017.
How are you all doing that just started the program? So excited but nervous, I just received an email inviting me to an interview. I have only had a work interview and one college interview and I don't want to do anything wrong in the interview. Any tips for me? Thankyou.
Hi there! My tip would be to relax and be yourself. I know it sounds cliche but they really just want to just get to know you. Think about your motivation for becoming a nurse because they will want to know. Also, do some research on the school and on Crouse in general. Familiarize yourself with what services they offer and what sets them apart from other hospitals and programs in the area. Everyone is very nice. You'll do great!

Can anyone tell me the code to the school for SAT purposes? I had scores sent to Crouse hospital but there was no search option for Pomeroy. I have to have my official sat scores sent and think I might miss the deadline. Has anyone successfully sent the sat scores to the college? I am hoping to get in for Fall 2017. Thank you.
