Pomeroy College of Nursing

Published

Hello I have submitted an application to the Evening/Weekend RN program at Pomeroy College of Nursing in Syracuse, NY. I am wondering if anyone else has applied to the program. The program starts Spring 2017 (January) and is 18 months long. I can't wait to receive an admission decision. I look forward to hearing from graduates of the program, current students, and prospective candidates.

How long do you have to wait after the interview to know if you get accepted or not?

How did your interview go? It was exactly 13 days. It was in a regular business sized envelope so don't get nervous if it is not in a large envelope. I had been accepted to a few other colleges and received large env with booklets etc. Just remember when you go to the mailbox. I am very confident if you were called for an interview you are in. Fingers crossed for you.

I feel like I did really well but I cant be sure until I get the letter from them. I also write them thank you notes to my interviewer and the dean thanks them for the opportunity. I hope I get it soon. Thank you for always replying to me .

Perfect, a thankyou note is always a nice touch. Yay, can't wait for you to get that letter in the mail. I am very confident you will be accepted.

I can't wait to meet everyone:) I made deposit about 3 weeks ago but haven't received anything further. I heard there was an accepted student day coming up in March. I am hoping to receive some further information soon:)

If you live on campus how is it in the dorms? Thank you:)

I don't live on campus, I've heard that living in the dorms is really nice for some students because you live right in the building we have classes in and we all have 24-hour access to the computer lab and skills lab. So you can just go in at 1am if you can't sleep or something. Also, apparently super nice in the dead of winter when you don't have to worry about driving/walking to class.
