Polk State College spring 2018 Nursing school

Hello all,

My name is Chris and I wanted to start a forum for anyone thinking about applying for the Polk state college nursing program starting in spring 2018. I am applying with a 3.45 overall GPA and a 3.5 pre-req GPA if I am adding that correctly. I plan to take my Teas in late July and I will update you all on how that goes. I couldn't stand the wait so I called the Nursing Office and found out that I was accepted into the program! So excited to start!

So I made #6 on the alternate list. Is there a good chance I'll get fully accepted??

Huntergbarnes, I was previously accepted into the program about 4 years ago, I had to give up my position due to a relocation. When I attended orientation they went up to or possibly past number 6 on the alternate list from people simply not showing up. Every semester is different, but regardless with alternate list as long as it is, you have a good chance.

I know they went up pretty high for the last spring class so you definitely have a good shot. I think it's all depending on who shows up for orientation.
