Polk State College spring 2018 Nursing school

Hello all,

My name is Chris and I wanted to start a forum for anyone thinking about applying for the Polk state college nursing program starting in spring 2018. I am applying with a 3.45 overall GPA and a 3.5 pre-req GPA if I am adding that correctly. I plan to take my Teas in late July and I will update you all on how that goes. I look forward to hearing from everyone. Good luck! :)

Does anyone know how long it took for previous applicants to receive their letters? I was told by oct 6th but I checked the mail today just to make sure Haha (;

They got them for last spring class on September 28th, and we will probably be delayed a week because of Irma so the week of the 6th is probably accurate. I get nervous every day when the mailman comes!!

New to the board, so hello! My name is Aly! I applied to Polk as well Spring 2018 Generic. I have 112 points. Looking forward to get that package in the mail. I will say anxiety is def mounting! Nice to have a place to rant about our feelings. I did everything late because I knew waiting was going to be horrible! I look forward to getting to know all of you a bit more before class starts. Hopefully our torture wont be prolonged. Best wishes to everyone!

I was told October 6, 2017 and if you haven't heard by October 13, 2017 to call Ms. Hutcherson office and speak to her assistant. I'm super nervous and I've already started meeting the mailman outside daily starting today. LOL Hope we all find out soon this process is super nerve racking!!! í ½í¹í ½í¸‰

Last year they got their letters on the 28th. This translates into this Wednesday, 4 Oct. for us with the hurricane delay.
