Hello people! Since no one has begun a thread for those that have applied or intend on going to Polk State College beginning January 2016, let's use this as a forum for questions and meet other students prior to starting.

KatieLorraine I was thinking the same thing! If I have to take off work, I kind of need to know before the week of and I really don't want to miss a day of work if I don't get in. I'm definitely gonna need my job if I don't get in. Lol

I read the same! Like 12-13 days after the deadline letters were sent out. Thanks for letting me know about the gpa calculation. I also agree that if anyone wants to call in a week to see I wouldn't mind it! ☺️

Nursinghopeful2, did she say if it's just the pre-reqs required for the course or all pre-reqs ever taken?

I believe just the pre-reqs required for admission.

I emailed them earlier today. Does anyone know if you have taken the other classes such as micro and human development, if they are counted? Or only the five prereqs?
