@kntorres I don't know where you may have learned that but that's not what that mean on the paper I have that says conditionally accepted it says that you will be notified by phone if a spot becomes available to you. I'm alternate number 1. I have class in the science building today and can and will get clarification even though my paper states why it says conditionally accepted just for confusion purposes. I don't know how you could be an alternate with no number. If you had conditionally accepted but it didn't say alternate I would think that the paperwork will do but if you are an alternate you are waiting for a spot. You can however get a spot if someone doesn't pass the background or if they don't turn in that paper or if they don't go to orientation. There are about five reasons to why an alternate could get in. This is the information I was told by a nursing student at Polk and a nursing graduate. I had a classmate who was alternate number 27 and she got in she said some people deferred going in until fall. I hope I get that lucky as I'm number 1 alternate. I would hate to be so close and not get in.

@Kiki26 My letter doesn't have a number nor does it clarify that I'm an alternate. I know it's kinda confusing, believe me when I first open the letter I was confused myself but I've already gone to school and got it clarified. I also turned in my intent letter and $20 (which alternates don't have to pay until they've been accepted to the program) Don't be discouraged though, I've heard most alternates get in the program! Good luck :)
I just spoke with Denise who is the secretary of nursing department she said what I stated about being an alternate and what it means. She asked that you please call her as what you have been told is not correct about paperwork and getting in. She said that if you are an alternate then you have a number they have been doing numbers for some time now as that was causing issues with people calling. She asked for your name but I told I didn't know it and I found it on this website. I hope I have helped any alternates with these same questions.
I just seen your reply back lol. I guess I read wrong I could have sworn I seen you write you were an alternate. My sincerest apologies love. Congratulations! She told me never in her nine years have they not took at least five alternates that if I'm number one don't even sweat it because she knows I wil get in. *fingers crossed*
No problem! It's a bit confusing since all letters start out by saying "conditionally accepted" good luck though!! :)

I just signed up for classes today with the Monday A.M. Clinical @ LRMC. Has anyone else signed up for the same?

Can anyone tell me if January start at PSC has coursework through the summer? Do classes go: Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring? Or Spring, Fall, Spring, Fall?
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys. I am new to this and know this thread is from this time last year. But I applying in the next couple of days. I have a 2.95 GPA and a 2.85 Pre-reg GPA and I have a 76.7 on the TEAS. I also have my AA. I think that's a combine point of 107.7 I believe. In your opinion.. Should I be prepared to be denied or accepted? I don't want to get my hopes up. I am trying to stay optimistic but I also want to realistic. Please let me know!

Tiff, just curious if you were accepted or not. My scores are pretty similar to yours and I'm thinking of applying this May.
