Hey guys! 
 

My name is Chris. I wanted to start this thread because I am interested in applying for nursing school at Polk state college for the fall 2021 semester.Everyone feel free to drop your stats (pre. Req GPA, overall GPA, TEAS score, and total points).I’m currently sitting at a 70% on the TEAS but definitely looking into retaking it to score higher.  I look forward to hearing from everyone as time goes on! ?

Hey, I was able to access the application and I made it to where it says the generic option. Although, in the application it says it is available from June 15th to midnight of June 30th. I know that’s what happened due to the delay before but I am not sure. 
 

Yes, I noticed that too. I’m hoping it’ll be alright and the application still went through.

If not, then I would probably try to submit another on the 15th.

Question. So I applied already. With a 3.0 pre req GPA. But I do have completed courses from a prior nursing program. Will the GPA be considered for those courses if anyone knows. please let me know. Thanks!

I want to say so. I believe the formula is ( 5 x overall GPA) + (5 x pre-req GPA) + TEAS score- this calculates the points you have that they evaluate to admit you or not.

So, your classes that transferred to Polk State should be in the overall GPA. I believe.

Hey Y’all! I just submitted my application. I hope I did it right. Did anyone get an email confirmation saying they received the application or know how to make sure it was submitted?

The application now says May 15th to May 31st instead of June... I wonder if they got the applications we sent and if I should fill out another one

Maybe I should contact someone to affirm?

Hey all! I'm applying for the fall 2021, but I'm not sure I'll get in this term. How long did it take for your transcripts to update? I can't calculate my points until they receive my transcripts from my other state college.

Mine took about 3-4 business days?

Hey you guys I resubmitted my application because I got nervous the 1st one didn’t take over the weekend and sure enough it did not. I got a confirmation email after I submitted the new one. Which I didn’t get the first go round. Just a heads up for everyone.
