Polk State College Fall 2017

Decided to start a thread for Polk State College Fall 2017 nursing hopefuls! I'm hoping we can use this post to share our stats and anxiety during the application process. So, I'll go first. My name is Megan, I have a Bachelors degree from USF. My TEAS score is an 84, overall GPA 3.25, and prerequisite is 3.75. I'm actually retaking the teas to try to get a better score next month. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to hear back from some of you.

Sorry! I wasn't trying to sound rude or accuse anyone of lying, It just seems weird that they would have the minimum displayed when no one ever gets in with that. I apologize!

Appreciate you explaining yourself. Its hard to gauge people's meanings in their messages without being face to face. It is annoying how they say 2.8 minimum gpa when it should really say 3.5, lol.

The probl m with HCC is they do not factor in the TEAS score. You can score a 90 on the TEAS, but if you have a 3.5 gpa then you are not likely to get in. Polk adds the TEAS in. This makes people with a lower gpa more likely to be accepted.

I got a response saying we will get letters next week, so I'm hoping they stay true to that!
