Did anyone else on here apply to PLU for BSN? Couldn't find a topic for this.

Yes, I was admitted to PLU in January.

I also got accepted to the general school. I got my acceptance in February.

I applied in November, so super early. Still no word. I also obsessively check my email, haha. 

My best friend applied in January, so a little early, and got her denial letter sometime at the end of February or beginning of March. 

Oddly enough, I saw someone on the UW forum say they got into PLU. I also am crazy and looked up 'PLU BSN 2021' on facebook and saw someone's post saying they were accepted. So why have we not heard anything?! It seems as though it doesn't matter if you apply early or on the deadline, it is very random when you hear back.

I did and paid the deposit. I believe it’s refundable until May. I need to verify. I’ll probably request a refund if I don’t hear back by the end of April ?

Curiosity killed the cat - I looked on facebook and found that post. Darn. Super happy for her! Hoping we all join her in the fall ??

odd.... I cant find that post on facebook, can you link or screenshot it? I really hope we hear soon because like you guys say we kinda need to have things figured out the beginning of May. Im waitlisted at SU so I'm really stressing!!

I submitted everything the last week of March. I haven’t received a general acceptance or any sort of nursing program notification yet. I did transfer a previous Bachelor’s degree so not sure if that has the potential to delay my application notification or maybe I’m just impatient ! Ahhh so anxious

I didn't even think about needing to pay the deposit unless I got into the nursing program.. So thank you for bringing that up! How much is the deposit? Is that normal to pay it before getting accepted to the program you applied to?

I'm not sure how much the deposit is for PLU. I would think students should wait to make a decision for general admission before paying the deposit, but decision day is coming up so I'm hoping Nursing decisions will be sent out before then. Fingers crossed!

It’s $200! 

The reasons I paid early are: 1) it’s refundable for a little while longer and 2) they gave an additional $200 scholarship for anyone who paid before April 11th. So they essentially matched my contribution... I’m always down for more scholarships if I can get them ?
