PLU for Fall 2016 anyone?

I've applied for Fall 2016 in PLU (it's December 2015 now). I got all my paperwork in mid November. Now, it's waiting until June to find out. I'm really crossing my fingers! I completed all my prereqs at TCC with a 3.9GPA (including cadaver lab) this past spring. I'm hoping to follow your and my journey through this process. I hear they choose 80 of about 600 applicants...

Hi everyone! If you're still in school like me ~ good luck on finals this next week! I just thought I'd post that I've still not heard nay or yay yet. I'm thinking they're waiting for me to submit my unofficial transcript for spring. Still ~ mailman stalking continues lol. I put in for a 3rd time for TCC's lottery too; which is open now until July 1 folks! Take care & pls keep us informed your status :)

Hello!

I thought I'd share a rumor I heard today from a trustworthy fellow student of mine. She contacted Brandon...you probably know whom I'm talking about... Anyways, she said that he said (lol) that emails will go out on the 15th! Personally, I'm not sure if I can believe it entirely since I've been waiting so long & the fact Spring quarter grades come out Monday. She tells me PLU can access transcripts directly (I never heard of that), but that basically submit the unofficial as soon as possible. That's it! I'm officially nutty!! Enjoy your weekend all!!

Whelp. No emails for me. I suppose it goes to show ya never really know and the process is clouted in mystery and suspense! I turned in my Spring unofficial transcript Tuesday to PLU. They have everything from me now...I'm REALLY hoping for good news soon. I'm driving my husband nuts now too, lol. He says to just call them, but the voice in my head says June 30th. Anyone hear back yet?

I got my email today. I was waitlisted. so here's hoping the letter sais they only wait list about 20 so that means that I was in the top 100 but not the top 80 were I wanted to be. so here is to crossing fingers.

From other threads, I've read people can get off the wait list right up until the start of program :|. Does your email give you any timeline? Can you give the rest of us hope?

Yes there is a frequently ask questions sheet that came with my letter and it did say people can come off that list at any time. but depending on the year it has been as few as 2 and as many as 30. it also sais that there is no waitlist for fall because spring is defacto waitlist for fall. so my understanding is if there are openings in fall people from spring will be pulled. and if there are opening in spring people from wait list will be pulled. it sais I could receive further letters at any time. but the final letters for those on the wait list will be send out in February. I would have to say as nerve racking as it is keep waiting. I know some people were getting letters as early as april may but those were the ones not enrolled. if you were enrolled there were waiting on spring grades. unfortunately I'm in the boat were everything I can do is done including those that are required for the school. so I will probably be taking fall off just so I don't risk getting a bad grade in the fall that could jeopardize my chances on the wait list.

I got my acceptance in April and I was enrolled.

Got my acceptance to spring 2017 today, i have till the 30th to respond. seems the lpn's start spring since they don't need the first term classes. i did not receive any emails. just a plain letter in the mail with 4 pieces of paper in it. good luck those still waiting.
