PLU for Fall 2016 anyone?

I've applied for Fall 2016 in PLU (it's December 2015 now). I got all my paperwork in mid November. Now, it's waiting until June to find out. I'm really crossing my fingers! I completed all my prereqs at TCC with a 3.9GPA (including cadaver lab) this past spring. I'm hoping to follow your and my journey through this process. I hear they choose 80 of about 600 applicants...

I'm starting to stalk my mailman. I hope this is over soon before I go crazy :up:

Well I can't say I'm proud but at least it will give some of you that are still waiting a guide line, I have 3.58 gpa and only have Chem 131 left ( in it right now) and I got a rejection letter Saturday... Tough luck I guess but congrats to those that make/made it!

Sorry to hear that Meltowe. Any plan b? I have a few schools lined up just in case. I'm nervous since I still have to take Chem 131 this summer. Maybe we will end up in the same plan b :geek:

I have applied to a few community colleges as well... Also a few other programs outside of nursing, ultrasound tech, medical lab tech, and radiology tech... I'm hoping between all the community college nursing programs and the other medical programs someone will accept me somewhere for something lol

Oh no! I'm very sorry to read the news Meltowe. Thank you for sharing though. I wish you the very best as you continue forward. TCC opens up their lottery June 1 if you haven't considered that yet ~ also, UWTacoma has their PA program too. Those are my backups, but I have not heard from PLU yet either as I am currently in Chem131.

Chillithecat, those are also two of my backups! I have over 7000 clinical hours as a CNA so I started the Caspa Application asap when it opened up few weeks ago ... Who knows that may be what I'm destined for lol!

I have a friend waiting for an answer as well, she called today and they told her they don't do batch acceptance or rejection letters, they process them as they get to each person and send them out... So that could possibly take till July/ August if you're at the bottom of the pile.

Good info ~ thanks!! The mystery still continues for me though...I overnighted my packet in November 2015, the day they opened up application. I wonder if they did a shuffle seeing how I'm completing my last pre-req now. Just a few weeks and I'm done!!! I did, however, get an email today that said I needed to complete financial aid stuff ~ probably a general email blast though *sigh*
