PLU for Fall 2016 anyone?

I've applied for Fall 2016 in PLU (it's December 2015 now). I got all my paperwork in mid November. Now, it's waiting until June to find out. I'm really crossing my fingers! I completed all my prereqs at TCC with a 3.9GPA (including cadaver lab) this past spring. I'm hoping to follow your and my journey through this process. I hear they choose 80 of about 600 applicants...

Good luck, i used to attend the university (i got into nursing recently elsewhere). High GPA transfer student is definitely something that is reminiscent of those in current cohorts.

Just turned in my application yesterday. Super nervous. My cumulative is around 3.6, but I'm finishing a transfer degree at TCC with 3.8 so far. I'm hoping that will raise my cumulative GPA a little more. Hopefully they see that my grades have improved significantly since my first round in college over 10 years ago. Ready for the longest wait ever.

I'm still at TCC just to maintain my WSOS. I'm hearing a lot more people applying and waiting in the same boat. FYI, I applied to TCC ADN for Fall 2015/Winter 2016 & didn't get in per lottery...so I applied AGAIN December 2015 for Spring 2016 start there (supposed to find out by mid February). PLU is definitely my first choice though. I really despise waiting. Pierce just opened up their application process today...I may throw my hat into that one too? Worse case scenario is being accepted into them all ~ good to have a back-up plan though.

I too applied to the 2016/2017. Have you all received confirmation of your application? I also applied to Pierces ADN program. This is probably one of the most nerve racking times.

I received an email about a week before the deadline saying they were still waiting for one of my letters of recommendation to come in, but nothing else since then. I am guessing we will start getting confirmation emails in a week or so.

I got the same thing, then she emailed me saying she had everything. I know they have so many to go through, but I am just praying I hear a little sooner than May:)

Well, I've officially been passed up a second time for TCC's lottery. Their next application is June 1 for Fall 2016/Winter2017. I'm really hoping PLU comes through though! I guess the next thing I wait for is a financial aid packet set to be sent out somewhere about March 4th? It'd be so cool to be accepted and to be able to afford PLU!

Hello Everyone applying to PLU BSN 2016/2017,

I just want to try to clarify real quick....I am Trouble1996. I had to set up a new profile b/c I couldn't log-in after allnurses switched from being able to log in from a social network. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.

I also want to update that PLU has been in contact with me for further information. Has anyone else been contacted yet?

I'm really starting to get anxious! I'm completing my last pre-req of Chem 131 Spring quarter, but everything else is in a row. If you have any info you'd like to share on that class, that'd be great . I will also be applying a 3rd time to TCC's lottery system on June 1 too... I am REALLY hoping for PLU though!

Still no contact from PLU on this end. Hoping I will at least receive an email saying my application was complete. After reading other threads, it seems like that could be within the next couple weeks. *fingers crossed*

I will be finishing Chem 131 this coming quarter at TCC as well, and that will be the last of my pre-reqs along with micro. Just plugging along for now. Good luck everyone! Can't wait to hear updates!

Today, I logged into Banner. Estimated cost says $53k! I wonder how close that is to an actual cost. I've not received anything in the mail yet nor have I heard anything SoN related. Still in limbo here....
