2014 PLU applicants?

Anyone applying to PLU this year? I'm also applying to UW in Seattle, will be my 1st time applying to PLU, anyone have any tips or advice? Not sure how the application process for them works.

I also applied at Seattle U's APNI program. Are you on the Facebook group? There's a post about it under the pre-nurse practitioner section in APRN on this site.

They accept 20. Just confirmed by phone.

Thanks for the info and congrats on your acceptance!! With all those medical hours I'd find it hard to believe you wouldn't get into SU's program.

Anybody else receive a phone call? I got a call from a current student to just chat about the program. She sounded lovely & so happy with the program!! I'm even more anxious now...

I never applied to PLU but sent them my GRE scores. & i also got a call from a current ELMSN student to talk about the program last month. Will definitely consider applying next year.

Ugh, well now I am officially worrying myself sick over this. I never imagined when I turned in my applications how I would be feeling when I started seeing things like this! Do they have students call everyone they might be considering? I wonder...

No I didn't ask for a phone call! I'm worried sick too trying not to read into things too much. I asked & the student I talked to said they want to give everyone a call to chat about the program & that it has nothing to do with admission decisions. I'm trying to be strong & not call the admissions office but really want to!!!!!! Their program seems like a really good fit & I'm so anxious to hear a decision.

Seattle123- maybe your GRE score was so impressive they wanted you to send an application in ASAP!!!

I had my husband call yesterday to ask about how many people they admit - ha. The woman he spoke with is the one who has emailed asking for transcripts. She hasn't been very friendly with me, so I was afraid to call. My husband said she was not pleasant to him on the phone either so I figure she's inundated with annoying phone calls ;-)
