Pls teach me How to apply NCLEX in HongKong while in the Philippines

The pearsonvue testing site in HK is just that. A testing site. You don't apply to them for NCLEX. It is a third party company that handles the NCLEX testing on behalf of your State BON.

You need to apply first to a State BON to be eligible to sit for the NCLEX and each State BON has it's own requirements to be followed.

1st decision you must make is w/c State you would apply to. Each has it's own pros and cons and diff. requirements.

Which state do want to work ??

Hold on to your horses for a while. Choosing the right State BON is one of the impt. decisions you'll make. It can make your life easy or very hard.

You should read and go through Suzanne's Primer 1st in the Int'l forum. I already provided the link above. A list of websites you should visit is also there.

Do a little bit more research before jumpin in.

in addition bro, or anyone who has an idea, i wish to know what would be the very first step for me to do. who should i contact or where can i address my concern with regards to my application for nclex or in order for me to receive an application form and know the necessary requirements needed in applying nclex. do you know any website where i can learn more about this application.

first step is to make up your mind which state you really want to go

search for their site on the net (e.g. vermont board of nursing)

just browse the site and youre supposed to find the downloadable forms there

in some case it's just a request form where you submit your info and they'll mail the forms to you

the requirements for that said state are also supposed to be enumerated there, just read and keep in mind which ones apply to you

and dont forget to read all the stickies in the international forum as well as here in the philippine nursing forum because most of your questions regarding nclex-rn can be answered there

please read this carefully and completely. i am starting to feel like a broken record.

1. you do not apply directly for the nclex-rn exam. the nclex exam is the final step in the licensing procedure for the us, it is not the only step. you must first apply to a state's board of nursing (called the bon) and have them accept your credentials for licensure there.

2. you cannot schedule an exam date or center until you have been accpeted by a state to sit for the exam. so do not pay the fee to pearson-vue until that time. the money paid is only good for a certain amount of time, or you will lose it.

3. please post any questions dealing with working in the us, under the international forum, where it will benefit all. unless it is specific to a center in the philippines, or something like that, anything for working in the us, needs to go to the international forum.
