hi. welcome to allnurses.com. moved your thread to the int'l forum where it is more appropriate. :wink2:

Actually the current Bulletin (For Oct.) states that there are still visas for Schedule A for the month of Oct. and the estimate where all visas will be exhausted for the 50,000 that were alloted will be on the next Visa Bulletin (Oct.), w/c is for the month of Nov.

The Sept. Bulletin (the current one) is for the month of Oct. and the Oct. bulletin would be for the month of Nov.

Once retrogession sets in by Nov. everything will be on hold. I am not sure if they will freeze the I-140 petitions as well. This is best discussed w/ an immigrant lawyer.

As soon as the current visas are no longer availabe, I-140 and I-485 petitions are no longer accepted.

There will be no visas issued once the 50,000 are gone--------------meaing that until more are released, and if you are from one of the countries that will be affected, you are "in the freze."
