Hi Guys!
I came across a post on reddit (linked below post by NYCHHCnurse) that broke down the salary for HHC nurses. The post is a about a year old so I understand the numbers have changed since then but I was wondering if the starting hire number, currently listed at 67,222, is whats given before differentials are factored in. I read on reddit there are shift, educational or certification differentials. What I would like to confirm is
1) whether those are factored in on top of 67,222 or already factored in?
2) if someone comes in with either a BSN or a Masters, are they going to be paid the educational differential annually or is it a one time thing?
I appreciate your time in clearing this up for me!

Hi RMKN,
Would you mind sharing how did you find out about the current listed salary for HHC hospitals is $67,222?
Hey Pochacco,
When you go to HHC's careers website to search for openings, click on external applicants and go through staff nurse listings, the hire in rate is currently listed as that number.
Thank you RMKN!
No problem!
