Some people just dont' test well. Happens to a lot of people. Deep breath, and get your test books. Do the practice tests. Correct them, and see what you are getting wrong. If it is the same types of questions, then you know what you need to review. If they come with a disk to do test questions on the computer, do them. Until you get what the testing style is like. Do not cram a bunch of information in your head. Most often one knows the answer, just not how to get to the best answer. Even if you have to make copies of the test multiple times, keep on practice testing.
Word of advice, DO NOT change answers when you are testing. If you received a print out of your scores, review those parts that you did not do well on. Finally, don't read into the question. Take it on face value and answer it. Don't start thinking about other scenarios. Make sure you know your delegation and protocol. That seems to be a huge factor in a number of tests across many medical licensing genres. For me I need to read it, pick best answer and move on. Do not spend tons of time re-thinking it. Also, make index cards of all your best answers. Study them everywhere. Best of luck, let us know how it goes!
