what would you do if :

- you are instructed to discharge a patient whose care is no longer being reimbursed, but who you know is not ready for discharge..

- 78 year old pt has a living will stating he does not want to be put on any life support machines. he s in icu and his oxygen level drops to dangerously low levels. the doctor comes in and proceeds to intubate him and place him on a respirator....

what would you do if you walked into an elderly person's room and he had a gun in his hand ready to kill himself??

this is one of horrible questions my prof asked in my paper assignment. please help..
